“Wake up to the blue sky, grab your shades and let’s go for a ride” (“Something About the Sunshine” by Anna Margeret). What a throwback! Does anyone else remember this movie? All this to say, I’m going on a week-long girls’ trip with some friends this summer and flying to the sunny state of California! I am SUPER excited to take time off from work and hang out with friends. This is also my first time flying and funding a trip ALL by myself (LOL ahh the adult life). I decided to keep it simple and pack one carry-on luggage and a personal item for the trip in order to save some money.
I had to research any new changes the TSA made regarding the carry-on luggage rules. For example, hand sanitizers up to 12 oz are allowed in carry-on luggage. Carry-On Packing List
Clothes
Since this is a week-long trip, I decided to keep it pretty simple. In order to keep you packing light, don’t forget to add in basic tops and bottoms that can be mixed and matched easily.

In this day and age, electronics and tech gear has been essential. Of course, I have to pack them! So, I’m bringing along my camera and laptop. Additionally, don’t forget the adapters, chargers, and cords that go along with the gears.
