Listen, Open-mind, Value, Empathy: LOVE

love

How often have you heard the phrase, “we need to show more love to others,” in everyday vernacular? Well, it seems easier said than done. Here are some easy ways to show love and respect to somebody.

Listen

It sounds super simple, but it’s really important to make sure that we aren’t just hearing people, but actually listening and understanding what the other person is saying. Everyone has a story that needs to be heard.

Open-mind

It’s so easy to see things from our own perspectives and be stuck in our own little world. However, that could also lead to some problems because we aren’t opening ourselves to critique, teaching, etc., and possibly growing in our thinking and how we view the world. There’s so much more out there than we think and we can’t begin to understand someone else when we’re in our own little bubble.

Value

Realizing that everyone is WORTHY and IMPORTANT will change how we treat somebody. We need to treat others with value and begin building people up. That’s it! Value and care for others’ needs.

Empathy

Seeing things from a human perspective can help us understand and even empathize with someone. When we tap into the “feelings” or “pathos” side (omg side note: I haven’t used that word since like high school English class! LMAO anyway…), we humanize people and have the opportunity to validate their feelings, understand their viewpoint, and support them.

We’re also selling stickers to help remind us of how we can show love to others. You can find them here:
