Happy New Year! Here we are in 2022. There was a lot of stuff that happened in 2021, the good and the bad. With everything that happened, I want to continue to learn and grow as a person. A lot of the things I want to work on this year are a continuation of goals and resolutions from years prior. It’s not gonna be easy, but I want to make sure I have grace with myself and strive to do my best.
Goals
Have at least one photoshoot every month
I want to take my photography game to another level and commit myself to take photos at least once a month. Again, going back to maintaining a work-life balance, I want to prioritize something that makes me happy and continue to grow in my skills.
Upload at least one blog post every month
I tried my best to upload at least one blog post in 2021. This year, I want to achieve that again but have more quality content (I was slacking towards the end 👀). I’m trying to plan ahead and get things set up, so be prepared for some new content! 🙂
Self-publish one book this year
I self-published a book called, “It’s Okay To Cry” in 2021. I got to fulfill a childhood dream to become an author. It was such a fun process and I’ve learned so much! I have so many ideas and I want to continue creating stories to share. We’ll see how it goes! To order your copy of “It’s Okay To Cry,” take a look at these links:

Maintain Work-Life Balance
In 2021, I began working full-time. It has been kind of difficult trying to work on personal hobbies (photography, writing stories, blogging, etc.) after working many hours in the week. I’m going to try and plan out times to work on personal hobbies on the weekends. We’ll see how that goes!
Drink more water and get my steps in for the day
I feel like this is pretty self-explanatory. In addition to prioritizing mental, emotional, and spiritual health, it’s important to take care of yourself physically.
Know that I’m enough and I don’t need to strive for the approval of others
Last year, my word of the year was “enough.” You can take a look at that post here. This year, I want to expand on that and work on finding my value and self-worth in God. It’s okay if people don’t like me and if friendships don’t last forever. Relationships/friendships come and go, but I shouldn’t base my worth or identity when things don’t work out.
I hope everyone has a great New Year! Let me know what your goals and resolutions are for 2022.
XOXO
Pauline
