“I love the sunshine… I love the sunshine… I love the sunshine” (to the tune of “I Love My White Shoes”). Tell me you work with kids without telling me you work with kids LOL. As a result, I get to read “Pete the Cat” books almost every day and listen to the song haha if you know, you know. Anyway, the weather has been nice to us lately, so I decided to have a mini picnic/spring photoshoot with a friend.
We went to a local park and set up our blankets on an open grass field, with a view of an intense volleyball game across the street. For Kaprice’s spring photoshoot, we decided to keep it very low-key and have it be more of a catch-up/picnic type of thing. One thing that Kaprice picked up recently is knitting. She is currently working on a new scarf, which you can see here below! So fun! 🙂 Afterward, we were just catching up with each other. It’s always nice having someone to talk to!
The lighting was okay. We were right by the shady trees in the open field so we wouldn’t be baked under the sun, but we still had the sunlight glimmer through the trees. It was around mid-afternoon (~3:00 PM), so the sunlight wasn’t high up, but not golden hour yet. Not the most consistent lighting, but we made do with what we had. Here’s a little behind-the-scenes photo of our location! Additionally, here are the items that I had to move away from the shot (backpacks, bags, food, etc.). LOL Life of an over-packer. 😂
