It’s that time of the year again! Hard work is finally paying off. 🎓 It’s graduation season! WOO-HOO! 🥳 I got to meet and photograph one of the sweetest college seniors, Elissa! Elissa is finishing her last year as a Film and Video Studies major. So cool!
At around 5:30 PM, we started off the photoshoot by the pond. There is this beautiful scenery with cherry blossom trees right by the pond. However, by the time she reached out, the cherry blossoms were replaced with some greenery. We were saying how the blossoms were literally there a couple of days ago But with the combination of an influx of colder weather and the wind, they made their appearance short and sweet. Thankfully, there were still one or two trees left closer to the water, so we set up shop there to begin the photoshoot.
Onto our next location, which is a shift from the nature look. Now, we see some buildings. There are some nice, clean shots by the building. The brick wall added a nice pop to the gallery.
At one point when we were walking to our next location, this person came up to us and started to talk about how Elissa was wearing a gown and if she needed a photographer… then he saw my camera and retracted what he said LOL. I’ve never had that happen before… oh, the things that happen on a college campus…
Anyway, we concluded the photoshoot at this cute little “flower maze” tucked in between some buildings. It was this adorable little circular walkway and once you got to the middle, there was a boulder/rock to sit on. It was nice and shaded by the time we got there.
