Hey Friends! 👋 I was going through some old images, and came across a collab I did back in 2019 with Story Media Lab and Worldgate Florist! With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, make sure to support your local flower shops and surprise your loved ones (or yourself😉) with a beautiful bouquet.
So back in 2019, I collaborated with Story Media Labs, run by Ellis Chang and Michael Villalas, to serve Worldgate Florist. So what is Story Media Labs? Story Media Lab is a local creative business in the Northern Virginia area that provides services to organizations to share their story. Services include film production, storytelling, and digital marketing.
Together, we worked to serve Worldgate Florist, a local floral shop in the Northern Virginia area. They have the most beautiful flower arrangements! At the time, we were working on a special promotion for Valentine’s Day. The team went over to the Downtown Herndon area. There was a cute train display, so I took a couple of images from inside. We had our awesome model, Brian, showcase the gorgeous flowers. Here are some images from the promotion.
This next image is a fun one! For this image, I went inside the stationary train and photographed it through the window. You can see the reflections of the road/lanes as well. To me, it looks like a still image when you pause a movie!
The Washington & Old Dominion Railroad train was such a fun setting to work in. I think I was going for that “movie poster” or still photos from a movie set type of look. I’m not sure what movie this would be called, but there’s definitely a story behind these photos.
I think this is my absolute favorite photo from the series! It’s simplistic and showcases the vibrant flowers!
