I have another throwback photo session and supportive spotlight for you! My friend Anjali (aka Anjali’s Art) is a talented painter. During the pandemic in 2020, we went over to Bull Run Park in the Northern Virginia area to get some fresh air. Anjali set up around a few different areas within the park and did some live painting in nature. Take a look at the progress photos below.
Firstly, we found a spot by the open trees. Anjali brought a cozy Pokemon bed sheet as her outdoor blanket (you might see a Pikachu peeking out somewhere in the photo! 😝). She also set up her blank canvas, colorful paints, and soft paintbrushes on the blanket. The open trees were an inspiration for the new painting. Once she found a background of trees, she began creating.
After sitting in the same spot for a little bit, we decided to walk around the park. Sometimes to get inspired, you need a change in scenery! There was a nice little rock sitting area for her to continue her painting.
Here are some linked products that were used during the photo session. If you have been inspired by the painting, here are some art supplies:
- Canon 55-250mm F4-5.6 IS STM Lens
- Apple Barrel Art Paint
- BOSOBO Paint Brushes 20 Pieces
- 8×10 inch Set of 10 Canvas Boards
This was such a fun branding photoshoot. It was so nice to hang out with a dear friend and take portraits of this gorgeous, talented person! Give Anjali a follow on Instagram. If you’re interested in booking and collaborating on your own branding photos, you can find and contact me here.
