Music Credit🎶: “I Am Woman” by Jordin Sparks
Happy International Women’s Day! I hope all the women feel loved and celebrated, not just today, but every day! In the past few years, I’ve asked some amazing women to give advice that they want to share with other women. But this year, I’ve decided to shift and have a space to hype each other up and focus on self-love! I hope this International Women’s Day blog post helps you recognize the positive traits in yourself and your life!
What I Love About Myself
What I love the most about myself is my adaptability. Last year, I moved across the country to an entirely new place and outside of my comfort zone. I still have moments where I miss my friends and family but I’m making the best of it and enjoying this new adventure along my journey.

What I love most about myself is the gift I have to make people feel warm and comfortable. People often tell me they love my “energy” and that they can talk with me for hours. It’s a beautiful thing to connect with people.

My middle name is Joy and I love my ability to bring joy into people’s lives through laughter and simple conversation.

What I love about myself is my resilience, my creativity, and the way I pour love into everything I do. I’ve been through challenges that could have hardened me, but instead, they refined me. I love that I seek truth, growth, and purpose, and that I am willing to do the hard work to become the person God has called me to be. I love that I am disciplined yet full of curiosity, structured yet creative, determined yet full of grace for myself and others.
As a woman, I love the depth of my intuition and the way I can nurture, uplift, and create. There is something powerful about the balance of strength and softness, of wisdom and wonder, of confidence and compassion. I love the way I can command a room with presence yet offer warmth and comfort in the quiet moments. Being a woman means carrying both fire and gentleness within me, and I love how I embody both.
I love that I am still unfolding, still evolving, and that each day is another step toward the woman I have been created to be. And that? That makes me unstoppable.

One thing that I love about myself is the ability to show my emotions. I can express myself freely without feeling like it is socially unacceptable. The empathy and compassion I have towards others allows me to share my emotions with them and understand how they are feeling. It’s truly amazing to be a woman.

Hi my name is Alyssa. I’m music teacher and I love any kind of art.
Some things that I like about myself are my musical abilities, ability to think critically and solve problems, and my appreciation for different cultures and ideas.

What I love about women, is their ability to adapt. Whether in business where women don’t run from the challenges of the glass ceiling, but go above and beyond to advocate for their value or homemakers getting creative in resources, approaches, and intentionalities, to truly make a house a home – women constantly make the best out of it all. I am reminded of the verses Luke 8:1-3, where it talks about how the women of Jesus’s ministry provided for Him and His disciples out of their own resources. What a beautiful example of how women played an instrumental role by adapting to the variety of needs as our Lord and Savior proclaimed the good news from city to city. I am thankful for my colleagues compliment, “I love you in this role because you bring a sense of calmness to a project and can adapt by prioritizing needed changes.”

What I love about being a woman?
I love that I am a mom! To me, Motherhood is the best gift of being a woman. It is the most challenging thing I’ve ever done, but also the most beautiful and amazing thing of my life. It’s worth every second of it. I love that motherhood teaches me everyday to be less selfish and to think of the needs of the other. I feel It is leading me to the best version of myself as a woman.

What I love most about being a woman is our nature to endure all things good or bad and the ability to persevere. Women are noted for their beauty, ugliness, character, mistakes etc. The world looks at us in such a way that brings us down, possibly even breaks us but rest assured we will not be broken. I love that women have the capability to recognize goodness in others and to nurture souls. Women are power houses, but we are also the calm after a storm.

A few years ago, I was at a work picnic and we played a game where we were paired up with a co-worker and we had to answer questions about each other. One of the questions was, “what is an admirable trait/quality about the other person?” My co-worker said that I am creative! Thank you for speaking that over me! I love that I am creative!
Happy International Women’s Day!
