Happy Thanksgiving! I hope everyone has an amazing day filled with lots of love and joy!
Here are the top 3 things that I am super thankful for this year:
Amazing people in my life
This year, I tried to nurture the relationships that I have already. That includes, family, close friends, co-workers, classmates, etc. It was fun getting to know my co-workers and classmates more OUTSIDE of the work/school setting. And the FaceTime calls I had this year was super helpful in maintaining friendships🫶 The friends I have now are gonna be stuck with me for the rest of our lives HAHAHA 😂 A BIG thank you to the people who are still in my life! ❤️
Starting grad school
After two years, I am back in student mode. Here’s a blog post about my thoughts on attending grad school and how it’s been like as a grad school. I am so thankful for the experiences I’ve had the past few months. I got to shadow an incredible school psychologist at a high school in the area. I’ve learned so much and it’s been cool seeing the things I’m learning in class show up in real life. My classmates are super fun and I’m so glad we mesh pretty well together! Here’s to more karaoke nights and midterm/final celebrations! We gotta reward ourselves!
Being able to try new things and take care of myself
In addition to starting grad school, I had the opportunity to travel to California over the summer! I definitely needed to get away from work and live it up with some good people! It was nice taking a break and changing up the scenery for a little bit. I am so grateful I got to hang out with friends and explore my home state! Here’s a little recap video of the trip!
