Happy New Year! 🎆🎇Here we are in 2024. I started my 2023 year by writing out some goals and resolutions, which you can find here. Out of the 6 goals and resolutions, I successfully achieved one, which was “Upload at least one blog post every month.” WOO-HOO!!! I also worked on trying to maintain a work-life balance, drink more water, and get more steps in.
This year, I want to continue to work on goals and resolutions from last year. I want to make sure I have creative goals and personal resolutions to set up my 2024 year. A lot of the goals and resolutions are based on discipline, so gotta make sure to reinforce them to increase the behaviors (of course I had to add in some psychology gems here🤣).
Goals
Upload Two Blog Posts Every Month
I tried my best to upload at least one blog post in 2023. There were a few times when I didn’t really know what to blog about. However, this year, I want to really work on adding to the blog and focus on photography. School has been taking over my life, but I want to make sure I have time to do things that I enjoy.📝
Ten Photoshoots
This year, my classmates and I will be graduating with a Master’s in Psychology 🧠 (with a certificate in School Psychology). I would love to do more senior/grad photoshoots this year. I have a few people interested, so that’s a good sign!
Two Collaborations
Back in college, I got to collaborate with other creatives (photographers, artists, and businesses). 🖼️I really miss working with other people, so I would like to collaborate on different projects!

Resolution
Read at Least Four Books📚
A few years ago, I used to read books during summer breaks from school. For a while, I’ve been utilizing the Libby App to listen to audiobooks, but there’s just something about picking up a physical copy of a book. Reading is also a great skill to continue to sharpen, so my goal is to read four physical books. If you have any book recommendations, please let me know!
Create a Healthy, Solid Morning and Night Routine 🌅
For the last couple of years, I’ve had a pretty similar morning and night routine. I want to continue to add in healthy habits and make it a disciplined routine. In the morning, I want to wake up early to spend time with God (read the Bible and pray), drink water, and eat a good breakfast. Additionally, having a solid night routine will help me get a good night’s rest (another psych fact for you: sleep is so important for your functioning! Make sure you get your rest!), which will set me up for success in waking up earlier!
Travel More
In the last two years, I got to incorporate some more traveling during the spring/summer breaks. I love that I can travel to different places with friends! This year, I want to travel more and explore different places around me.
