I got an amazing opportunity to photograph the Wurster Family. We got to spend a beautiful autumn day in Broad Run, VA. The Wurster family really leaned into the autumn aesthetics with their fall colors. Lots of earth tones (i.e., greens and blues). And we gotta mention the hand-crafted crocheted sweater that our sweet little boy is wearing (courtesy of his talented aunt)! Take a look at the different stopping points of the warm autumn family portrait session.

Starting Point

Starting off strong, we began the session by the fence. While we were waiting for the full extended family to arrive, we took some photos of the members who were already there. We got some cute candids of the cutie little boy! Once the rest of the family arrived, we took photos by the fence. We got a nice little overcast, so we were able to set up right in front of the fence.
Mid-Point

As we were walking to the next point of the session, we got some nice little images on the walking path. Then we found a little deck with a seating area, so we set up there to get some more family moments. We also got a cute little candid moment (that lasted 0.3 seconds) of the cutie little boy playing with a train toy.
Warm Autumn Day

We ended the session in the grassy field. There were points in the session where the sun was shining and making its appearance. I had fun playing around with the golden hour light.
