Behind the Scenes: Caroline’s Graduation Photos (Class of 2024)

graduation

Happy graduation season! 🎓 I am super excited to share Caroline’s grad photos. She is one of my classmates from the program! Caroline is an amazing, aspiring school psychologist who graduated with a Master’s in School Psychology (on her way to an Ed. S. degree). Woo-Hoo!!!

We started off the session by going to the School Psychology training clinic on George Mason’s campus. Caroline wanted some images by the “School Psychology” sign, so we made that happen! It was also rainy outside, so it was best that we started indoors.

Once the rain lightened up, we went out and got some images in the natural light! I prefer natural over indoor lighting ANY DAY! We were originally going to walk over to the other side of the campus, but we pivoted when we found this trail. I’ve never seen this trail before and have no idea where it leads, but it was super cute! We also brought out the gown for these photos. I really like how the white graduation hood pops nicely with the green gown.

Right outside of the Thompson Hall Building, we took some cap throwing photos. I also got to get some nice, detailed shots of the gorgeous dress. Here’s a little educational moment: the traditional Chinese dress that Caroline is wearing is called a “Qipao.”

Here are some linked products I used during the photoshoot:

This was such a sweet graduation photoshoot. It was great getting to take portraits of a fellow school psych grad and classmate. ❤️ Congrats, Caroline (and thanks for braving the rain)! 🎓 And again, big congrats to the Class of 2024!
