Autumn is the perfect season for capturing beautiful family moments! We were over at Lake Fairfax in Reston and started off the session by walking across the bridge toward the warm autumn trees. We walked through a little trail by the lake and got some gorgeous images with colorful leaves in the background.
Surprise! In the middle of our session, there was a surprise pregnancy announcement!!! It was so exciting and such an honor to document this wonderful moment for the growing Fries family!
I wanted to focus on getting some spotlight images of baby girl here (she’s such a cutie!). She explored the environment around her, so it was fun getting candid moments of her creating her rock collection.
To conclude the session, I photographed the family walking together with some formal and candid moments.
