I got a super sweet opportunity to photograph Brenton and Bethel’s engagement. We got to spend a chilly autumn day in Alexandria, VA. Brenton chose such a beautiful and quiet space to have his proposal. Take a look at how this sweet engagement session went.

Spy Shots

This was my first engagement session that I got to photograph. Brenton and I coordinated the location spot ahead of time. On the day of, I found a spot higher up in the stairs, and thankfully, they were walking “downstairs.” During this time, Brenton shared a montage video that he created as part of the proposal. That’s where my trusty 55-250mm lens came in handy! I was able to give them their space and let them live in the moment. It also helped me live in the moment and observe what the next move was gonna be. Then, when it was time, I got to capture such a precious proposal moment!
Sweet Engagement

After the surprise, I got to do a sweet engagement session. This side of Old Town was not as crowded, so it was nice to have some sweet moments.
