A few years ago, Stephanie and I decided to have an “Autumn” day and take portraits outdoors. I absolutely love the aesthetics of fall, with the leaves changing color and the fall fashion. Come take a look at Stephanie’s beautiful autumn day in the park.
Autumn Day
For this session, I really wanted to highlight the autumn aesthetic with the fashion and the leaves. I also found a violet leaf. I played around with the leaf and made it like a little lens to photograph through. It was a fun technique to play with. There were a bunch of leaves around, so I used them to create a little hazy effect on the images.
Park Time
I absolutely love Stephanie’s smile! The park just brings out that extra smiley vibe! Again, continuing on with the autumn haze effect, I found two leaves of different hues and… wow! I absolutely love the way the violet and yellow leaves create such a harmonious effect on the image! That actually might be my favorite image from this whole session! We were both super excited about how it turned out!!! If you also look carefully, the branches have some motion blur to it because it was a very windy day as well.
