Welcome back! š It’s been a crazy few days/weeks. I have been stressed about getting my internship requirements completed while also balancing work demands. I’ve also been trying to keep up with my hobbies and do the things that I enjoy outside of work. To be completely honest, it’s been tiring trying to balance all of that. I feel the effects of being “on-the-go.” I’ve been feeling more exhausted and can see my early signs of burnout (not being motivated to do things and having negative thoughts about myself). On top of all of that, just the state of the world is overwhelming… In light of how I’ve been feeling, I am deciding to find the things that I am grateful for. It’s good practice to get in the habit of looking at the blessings that are in your life.
Grateful Heart #1

Just looking back at the last few weeks, I am grateful for the community I have around me. I absolutely adore my friends and am so thankful for them in my life! One of my top love languages is “quality time” and I so appreciate them for taking the time to hang out with me (or getting on a FaceTime call with me).

Another thing I have been implementing in my life is journaling. I’m grateful that I can have one outlet to get my thoughts out. It’s nice because I can use it as a prayer journal to express the things that have been weighing me down. It’s also kinda fun going back and reading old entries and reliving some fun memories!

This one’s kinda random, but last week, our water heater broke for a couple of days… thank God we were able to get it fixed! But man, having a working water heater was something that I took advantage of, and I realized how important and thankful I am to even have hot water in this cold winter (let alone, running water)!
